Call for Papers

The Journal of Applied Economics and Policy (JAEP) is currently accepting manuscripts in all areas of economics. The JAEP is a double-blind, peer-reviewed scholarly journal. It is listed in Cabell’s Directory of Publishing Opportunities and can be accessed online through EBSCOhost and this site.

The Journal of Applied Economics and Policy (formerly the Kentucky Journal of Economics and Business) is published by the Kentucky Economic Association. The JAEP accepts submissions from all JEL classifications; however, special attention is paid to manuscripts focusing on issues relating to Kentucky and the surrounding region.

All views expressed are those of the contributors and not those of either the Kentucky Economic Association.

Previous Issues

The Journal of Applied Economics and Policy was launched in 2003. Prior to 2003, the journal went by the name Kentucky Journal of Economics and Business and was published and distributed in physical form. 

Since 2003 the JAEP has been published digitally. New issues are published annually, or when a sufficient number of manuscripts are accepted.

JAEP Reviewers
